Our seventh week of Counting On God had us continuing in John 15:7-8. Our main focus was on BELIEF/FAITH. We also picked apart Heb. 11:1 and Heb. 10:38. We were created with a measure of faith and we all put our faith in something. It is the object of that faith that makes all the difference. We talked about how we can believe God because He is who He says He is AND because of all the ways He has proven Himself faithful in our lives. Believing leads to perceiving as we develop a filter of faith with which we view the Word of God and what is going on inside of us. This week we are going to use the Tool and Technique – Integrity Gaps to reveal the messages we have received that are contrary to the truth of God and gain victory over the deception of the enemy. Kathy shared her own testimony, using Rom. 5:1-5, of how she was able to receive the truth that God is never disappointed in her because His hope has never been in her in the first place!
