Trumpet Call was born in the summer of 2003. We saw a desire in the lives of the women at Divine Design Discipleship to go deeper in the area of prayer and putting spiritual legs on what they were learning. God had revealed to me a call He had put on my life to be a “Repairer of the Breach.” I began asking Him what He wanted that to look like in ministry. One particular passage He used during that summer to flesh out His plans was Nehemiah 4.
Nehemiah 4:19-20 — Then I spoke to the nobles and officials and everyone else: “There’s a lot of work going on and we are spread out all along the wall, separated from each other. 20When you hear the trumpet call, join us there; our God will fight for us.”
Each of the Leaders was working within her own group, but God has called us to come together in battle on behalf of the women of Divine Design Discipleship, to pray with and for them; to break down the lies of the enemy and rebuild with God’s truth.
Our theme song is Days of Elijah. The chorus says: “Behold He comes, riding on a cloud, shining like the sun, AT THE TRUMPET CALL, so lift your voice, it’s the year of jubilee, and out of Zion’s hill salvation (deliverance) comes.”
During Trumpet Call, we praise Him. And we come to Him asking Him to bring deliverance to those places where we need freedom…Because we are called…Because two are better than one…Because a chord of three strands is not easily broken…Because there is power in the prayers of righteous women.
Since we began, we have seen God do amazing things through this time. He has used these broken vessels to speak His Words of healing and love. We have been so blessed to watch God take back ground the enemy has stolen. I hope you use this time to enter into the Throne Room and enter His presence with clean hands and a pure heart. May you leave walking in victory and new found freedom. ~ Dana
