Tuesday was our last class for the Fall 2010 semester and we will begin meeting again February 1, 2011. This gives you several weeks to PROCESS the PRINCIPLES you’ve already learned and PRACTICE them on your PEOPLE! This is where the discipleship process really kicks in. Use this time to work through the material, connect with Jesus and get help from your group leader. She is there to help and really wants to do so!!
Our last Fundamental of Victory that we discussed is AGAPE! We want to love like God loves. We must receive this love from him and learn to see others as He does. We are pregnant with the love of God! Therefore, we need to eat right (take in the Word of God), exercise our faith, and avoid toxins (anything that is NOT love). Kathy reminded us what Agape IS and IS NOT and gave us practical examples of how to love as Jesus loved. We were encouraged to look at what our false definitions of love might be and challenged to love without taking offense.
Kathy provided us with lots of additional Tools & Techniques to practice with over the break. These will help us gain victory in our relationships.
